Super Saturday Count Down is ON!

It's almost here, the day that we have all been waiting for...Super Saturday!!!

So here are a few last minute reminders of what is going on.
The fun starts at 9:00am at the church, if you signed up for the advent you are going to want to be there as early as possible as it is an all day project. The cupcake class is from 10:00 to 11:00, we don't want you to miss out so please be there on time. Also lunch will be from about 12:00 until 1:00, even if you didn't sign up for a project we would love to have you join us for lunch.
If you signed up for the advent calendar or the hanging magnet board you need to bring either a paper cutter or a pair of scissors. Please be sure to have your items labeled so you won't lose them. As always we will have lots of paper and paint but if you know that you want something specific please feel free to bring those along as well. And finally if you signed up to make a tutu and want to embellish it with ribbons and all the prettiness please make sure to bring some change to buy those items.
Our committee has been hard at work and we can't wait to share this day with you!

A New Advent Option

Here is another option for the already fantastic advent calendar. Instead of saying 'Tis the season for family' it says 'Tis the season for Christ'. It really is such a beautiful piece. If this is the option that you choose (because unfortunately you can still only do one) the photos are available at the book store. You will need 2 packages. There are several different packages to choose from just make sure that you choose one with no borders. Also remember that the squares are 3x3 inches.

Also all orders and money for Super Saturday is due by Friday!! We would love to have you come and join us so please have your orders in by then.

Order forms and money can be dropped off at Cara H.'s house or join us for playgroup at the church on Wednesday at 10:00.

Super Saturday

Hurray, hurray it's finally here! Super Saturday will be held on November 6th from 9-2 at the church. The deadline for signing up is October 1st. Even if you don't feel like making any of the items offered this year, we would love to have you come. And now on to the show....

Advent Calendar

For this project you will need about 30 photos. At Wal-mart you can print 2 photos on a 4x6, this makes it easier to cut down and cheaper as well. All other supplies are provided but feel free to bring paper if there is something specific that you want. The background takes 6 12x12 peices of paper and the little squares are 3x3. Due to the time consuming nature of the project there is a limit of one per person. Although you will have time to do some of the other projects if you would like. Also you can save some time by sorting your pictures in the order that you would like to use them in. Please don't cut the photos in advance as the squares may vary slightly. Also if you have your own paper cutter you may want to bring it along.

New Monthly Activities

Last fall we were given new direction for the 'enrichment' program, as well as a new name. All meetings are now to be called relief society meetings. We as a committee are so excited to what the changes are going to mean for us the sisters. The most notable change is going to be monthly activities, which I am told is somewhat similar to what the program used to be like, (I guess I am too young to have ever attended those.)

So it is with great pleasure that we announce that this month we will be meeting at the church on Thursday April 15th at 7:00pm, our evening will be focusing on gardening.

It is our hope that with a regular schedule and a variety of topics that we will be able to appeal to a wider group of sisters.

We would LOVE to see you there!
