Book Club is Tonight

Hi Sisters!!
I just wanted to post a little reminder about book club tonight. We'll be meeting at Deb Kirkham's house at 8:00pm. The book is called "Faith among Shadows," but even if you haven't read it feel free to come out and visit with us. We hope to see you there. If you don't know where Deb lives just leave a comment and I will call you with it as I don't want to post it on an open invitation blog. Have a great day!

More Super Saturday

Oven in a Bucket $25
I have to say, don't let the photos deceive you...we are not making a potty! This is called an oven bucket. It's purpose is to be used in emergency situations. If you remember last year at Super Saturday we made Wonder Boxes, these are a similar idea. The main difference being that wonder boxes need outside heat source and these supply the heat source. The oven in a bucket is not intended to be used for foods that just need to be heated (soup, pasta, oatmeal etc.). The oven in a bucket retains its heat for several hours and is best to be used when making things like beans that need to be cooked for a long time in order to be eaten.
This item takes at least an hour to make so please make sure you plan for that so that you can complete all you projects in the given time. Also the bucket does not include the denatured alcohol or the pot that you will need to cook with.
Canning with #10 Cans $1.20
Bring either food storage items from home to be put in cans or else creative gifts. I will post more on this a little later in the week.

Super Saturday!!!

Magic Micro Bag $5
This bag is used to cook your potatos in the microwave in less than 10 minutes. I am told that they taste great, like they had been cooked in the oven for hours. The bag can also be used to cook corn on the cob or steam other veggies. The bag is machine washable and comes with some fairly high recommendations.

"Believe" board $4
This cute craft is a board cover with scrapbooking paper and then another board painted with the word believe in vinyl letters. There will be paper there for you to use, but if you would like a specific color or style please feel free to bring your own.

Dish Etching $2
Bring your own dish from home, it can be one you have been using for years or one you want to give away as a gift. Also bring your ideas for what you want your dish to say.
Please note: Each dish takes at least a half an hour to do plus drying time (another half hour or more). Also the chemical that is used is quite harsh, and will need to be applied outside.
Family Blocks $4
This craft is fairly simple and so cute. The front of the blocks are covered with different scrapbook papers and then a vinyl letter.
There will be scrapbook paper available there for you to use. But if you have a specific style or color that you would like then please feel free to bring your own.

Soother Clips $2
These little clips are really very simple to make and will take no time at all! There will be a boy and a girl one available so please specify on your order form which you would like so we can be sure to have enough of each there.

Reverence Book $6
This little book is a simple quiet book for your little ones. It is 25 photos of the Saviour with the words of 'I know that My Redeemer Lives' through out the book.
(Sorry the photo is on its side, I'm new at this and don't know how to change it)

"Every Picture Tells a Story" photo magnet board $4
This craft is so simple and easy to do. The lettering on the front is vinyl and the magnets are included in this project. But the picture of the world's cutest kids is not, sorry;)

"Recipe" photo magnet board $4
This is the same as the project above, just different letters and magnets.
